Dr. Lynda Morris Parham is a Licensed Psychologist, educator and ordained minister.  She has provided clinical services, teaching and training for over thirty years. 

Dr. Lynda is pleased to announce the opening of her practice in Downtown Durham, North Carolina. She has a passion for working with college-aged students and has worked in the Duke University and North Carolina State University Counseling and Psychological Services.  She is the former Director of Couples and Family Therapy at the Danielsen Institute of Boston University.

Since 2005, she has had a thriving private practice that focused on counseling adults and adolescents, couples and families.  Dr. Lynda works from an integrative perspective that includes traditional psychological models, along with restorative health practices to address a broad range of concerns; she has special interests in diversity issues, life transition challenges, racial and ethnic identity, academic and work place stress and the integration of spiritual/religious issues and psychology.

Dr. Lynda is a trainer, educator and public speaker on understanding mental health, contemporary marriage and family dynamics, adolescent development, diversity and multicultural issues, and spiritual and religious empowerment in everyday life.  She has presented throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Africa. She is licensed in North Carolina and Massachusetts.
